Mike and Jess—you’ve always felt like family, and it meant the world to be asked to play at your wedding, many years ago. Writing Big Pictures gave me the wonderful gift of hearing, separately, how deeply each of you felt about the other. I’m still sorry the song was nine minutes long—it was really hot out there—and equally sorry it took me 26 years to send it to you. Technology has come a long way since this little Korg deck, but somehow the song came off it perfectly.
